Narrow and Very Narrow Aisle (VNA) Pallet Racking is serviced by Reach Trucks or specialised forklifts called Turret/Swing-Reach Trucks or, in some cases, Automatic Stacker Cranes. These units operate in aisles not much wider than the load itself. Although capital costs are greater, there are usually significant savings in land and building costs.
Case picking is also possible with man-up Turret/Swing Reach Trucks, Stockpickers and AS/RS systems with appropriate attachments.
